Overview
About Me
A PhD student of computer science, currently on a gap year from studies, which is actually turning out to be two years :) Besides travelling I often participate in youth mobility projects (which is also kind of travelling ), where I meet many nice people from all around the World.
Kind, friendly, helpful, respectful, open-minded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was visiting my friend abroad I understood that staying with locals is absolutely different and much better than staying in a hostel. You see the real life of the place, you can talk to people living there, cook with them, get to know their friends, family, participate in a traditional event . Something that you could never experience in the traditional, touristic way of travelling.
Afterwards I started hosting and liked it a lot, too. It's great to help people, spend time with them, make them try local food. I try to be flexible, that is I like to hang out with my guests, but I also understand they can be tired after a journey and want to have rest. Then I just feed them and give them a room to sleep :)
Unfortunately I don't get any requests, since I live out of the city, but I sometimes invite guests who have posted a public trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: 70/80/90s, classical
Movies: Fascinating ones. Recently I've been bored with watching movies and I usually have to make a break in the middle. So I like the ones which make me want to continue watching.
Books: Le Comte de Monte Cristo! My favourite book and the main reason why I started learning french.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing the peak of el Teide (3718 m) from the sea level
Hitch-hiking 80 000 km in total, which is twice as long as the circumference of Earth.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make a Tortilla Espanola in a faster and easier way than the Spaniards do!
I can give you good tips concerning hitch-hiking. My skills have grown a lot for the 10 years of my trips and now I find myself a hitch-hiking expert :)
Learn: everything
Share: as above
What I Can Share with Hosts
Usually I try to bring some polish food, and sometimes vodka, if I don't come by plane with only a hand bag.
