ABOUT ME

I'm an enthusiastic member always looking for adventure, new horizons and new people. In fact, "new" is the name of the game. Adventure can come in many forms- new people, new communities, new activities, new places, as long as it is new.
As a result, I have lived alone in six different countries (Italy, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, South Africa and Canada) because I wanted to cross a threshold.

I love nature, hiking, camping and campfires, of course all in good company. In addition, I currently practice ways of keeping a calm mind whilst reality is harsh. These ways are from- don't scare- the Russian army, from when they were on long marches, in serious cold, or, yes, in combat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because of my desire for new things and because of the sense of community.

Apart from permanent stays, travelling has always been a critical part of my life. I cannot stand to sit in the same place for too long. I am always looking for the next edge to explore, the next threshold to cross, the next way to enrich my life.

Couchsurfing is my next adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quadbiking to a mountain in South Africa in pitch black night to look for leopards and hyenas with radio telemetry. Alone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A load of adventures and experiences. I also tend to edge towards philosophy when I people don;t seem to mind and I have an infinite arsenal of situational jokes, most often from British comics and panel shows.
