ABOUT ME

Hi! I am a proud 100% “Ibicenco”, a native of pure race (A specimen pedigree endangered); my whole family was born and grew up on the island. I consider myself a pretty sociable and easy to treat. I love jokes and sarcasm is part of me, but without going to unpleasant extremes. It is best to know me in person and judge yourselves :)

Muy buenas! Soy 100% ibicenco, un nativo de pura raza (de esos con pedigrí que ya no abundan jeje); toda mi familia ha nacido y se ha criado en la isla. Me considero una persona bastante sociable y fácil de tratar. Me encanta bromear y el sarcasmo forma parte de mí, pero sin llegar a extremos desagradables. Lo mejor es que me conozcáis en persona y juzguéis vosotros mismos ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting basically people almost every month of the year and proudly showing some of the most beautiful corners of the island. And if my finances allow me I can also accompany couchsurfers to eat any of the tipical delicious dishes of Eivissa (in a Restaurant, of course.. Im not a ver good cook hehe)

Básicamente hospedando gente casi todos los meses del año que me es posible y enseñando con orgullo algunos de los sitios más bonitos de la isla. Y si mi economía lo permite también puedo acompañar a los Couchsurfers a comer algún delicioso plato típico de Eivissa (Al no ser muy buen cocinero tendrá que ser en un Restaurante, jeje)

Interests

what I like:
- Nature in general: mountains, forests, green meadows, streams, lakes, ... Everything that is not easy to find in Ibiza (although we have great beaches and good weather all year!).
- Animals, especially dogs. Although I now share my life with 2 cats (or tiny beasts!) Kali & Motxo.
- Sex, of course! And who doesn't?!
- Cinema, TV serials, music, books, comics, table games and consoles or PC games.
- Play basketball, kayaking, trekking. I also enjoy watching soccer from the TV, especially if my team plays (FC Barcelona).
- Partying with my friends and couchsurfers in alternative music bars. Although I adapt to many environments based on my drunk status hehehe But: I’M NOT INTERESTED IN CLUBBING!
- Travelling so CS has been a great discovery and, of course, I like to meet nice people. But I could not live anywhere else, I love my island and I need to live surrounded by sea!

Lo que me gusta:
- La naturaleza en general: montañas, bosques, prados verdes, riachuelos, lagos, etc Todo lo que no abunda en Ibiza (¡aunque tenemos unas estupendas playas y buen clima todo el año!).
- Los animales, especialmente los perros. Aunque ahora comparto mi vida con 2 gatos, (o bestias pardas) Kali y Motxo ;)
- Sexo, por supuesto, ¿y a quién no?!
- El cine, las series, la música, libros & comics, los juegos de mesa así como las videoconsolas y los juegos de PC
- Jugar a baloncesto, ir en Kayak, hacer trecking, escalada light, etc. También disfruto del fútbol pero viéndolo desde la tele, sobretodo si juega mi equipo el F.C. Barcelona.
- Salir de fiesta con mis amigos y couchsurfers en bares de música alternativa. Aunque me adapto a muchos ambientes en función de mi estado de embriaguez jejeje Pero: NO ME INTERESAN LAS DISCOTECAS.
- Viajar por lo que CS ha sido un gran descubrimiento. Pero como en mi isla no estoy en ningún otro lado, creo que no podría vivir en otro sitio, necesito vivir rodeado de mar!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, from classic films to current cinema.
I like alternative music: rock, funk, grunge, punk, ska, metal, hardcore, ... And if possible go see live music at some Rock festivals!!! Although I am not very fond of electronic music or clubbing... (yeah..wtf Im doing here! hahaha)
I like reading books and comics.
Both films, bands and books / comics that I like so many can not make a simple list, but I'll give you an example of each:

- Book: Song of Ice and Fire (George R. R. Martin)
- Comic: Preacher (Garth Ennis)

Me gusta mucho el cine, desde las películas clásicas hasta el cine actual.
Me gusta la música alternativa: rock, funk, grunge, punk, ska, metal, hardcore, … Y si es posible ir a ver música en vivo a algún que otro festival. Aunque no soy muy aficionado a la música electrónica ni en ir de discotecas, así que no os podré enchufar en ninguna jeje
Me gusta leer libros (gusto variopinto) y comics (Allan Moore, Garth Ennis, Mark Millar...).

Tanto de películas, grupos de música y libros/comics me gustan tantos que no es posible hacer una simple lista, pero os pondré un ejemplo de cada uno:

- Libro: Saga de Canción de Hielo y Fuego. (George R. R. Martin)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watch the sunrise in Cappadocia.
Partying a whole summer and not die trying.
See live bands like Tool, Metallica and Rage Against The Machine.
Asist a typical Egyptian wedding in Cairo (although I have always thought that marriage is overrated) between a friend and an Egyptian boy after watching our lives pass before our eyes by being part of a race between two taxis were driving to 180 km per hour in the city center.
Make the Route of the Cathars by French territory.
Visit the mosques of Istanbul and try some delicious local dishes accompanied by a native.
Risk my life driving in Italy while on a route through Tuscany.
Sleep 2 hours in 4 days.
Chillouting in a quiet cove and see appear from the sea a man flying in a water jet pack. After those you wonder if before you'd lie you drugged with a powerful hallucinogen.
Eat best pancakes in the world in Zwolle and drink the best beer in the world in Munich ;)

Ver el amanecer en la Capadocia.
Salir de fiesta un verano entero y no morir en el intento.
Ver en directo a bandas como Tool, Metallica y a Rage Against The Machine.
Asisitir a una boda típica egipcia en El Cairo (aunque siempre he pensado que el matrimonio está sobrevalorado) entre una amiga y un chico egipcio después de ver pasar nuestra vida por delante de nuestros ojos formando parte de una carrera entre dos taxis que iban conduciendo a 180 km por hora en el centro de la ciudad.
Hacer la Ruta de los Cátaros por tierras francesas.
Visitar las mezquitas de Estambul y probar unos deliciosos platos típicos acompañados por un nativo.
Jugarme la vida conduciendo en italia mientras hacía una ruta por la Toscana.
Dormir 2 horas en 4 días.
Estar de chillout en una tranquila cala y ver aparecer desde el mar un hombre volando en un Jet Pack de agua. Después de esos te preguntas si antes de tumbarte te habías drogado con algún alucinógeno muy potente.
Comerme el mejor panqueque del mundo en Zwolle y beberme la mejor cerveza del mundo en Munich

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach/show:
Nice sites of my island, Ibiza speak (dialect of Catalan), to kayaking, to play Guitar Hero, to tame cats, etc

I can share:
My free time, my fisherman hut and my kayak, my cats, my friends, my xbox, Walking dogs as a volunteer at a rescue center Animal and charm in abundance :D
