I'm Bart. 29 years old and living in Nijmegen, the oldest city of the Netherlands. In my spare time I enjoy walking in nature and I like a good beer. On sunday's I play a pubquiz. I've got a busy life, but I don't mind to share it with others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to offer my place to others because I think it's fun for other people to learn something about the city, visit the nice places and all that for no money.

I also like to meet other people and experience there hometown. On backpack trips I also enjoy talking to strangers and hearing the stories they have.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only know people who have done this, have no experience yet. On my vacations I use a tent most of the time. But the next time I'm going to a city, i will go couchsurfing definitly.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

R.E.M, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Orbital, Sigur Ros, Warpaint. All the music that you can hear on big festivals like Lowlands. I like movies that are presented at filmfestivals. But I also like very bad movies sometimes.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've been in Norway in a travelling hut on 1300 m when it was full moon. It was a beautiful view and experience. Walked in Norway, Scotland and France with my backpack. Planning to do this a lot more.
