ABOUT ME
I'm a 28 year old that's lived in Washington, DC, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, London, and Bonn (Germany). I now find myself doing PhD research in Bangkok, Thailand. My gf, who's a writer, is with me and we're trying to see as much as possible while we're in this part of the world.
I consider myself fairly well traveled, but always looking for the next awesome place to see. When I travel I like wandering neighborhoods, eating with locals, and making new friends. Basically, I like becoming enmeshed in everyday life. I'm looking for a host that can help me experience that fully.
[Just a note: this used to be a joint account with my best friend/roommate Layne in Washington, DC. I pour a glass of champagne out for those times.]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOSTING
If you like having a chill, laid back experience, I'm the right host. I always give my guests suggestions on must-sees and also a bit of local color.
In particular, I know the gay scene in any city I live in. If that appeals to you, I can definitely highlight the bright spots.
Traveling a lot until December, so that's why 'maybe accepting guests'. Current itineraries: Japan (Aug 6-19), Vietnam (Sept 5-16), parents visiting (Oct 5-17), India (Nov 1-18)

The list goes on.
