About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expanding the contact improv scene in Maine. Embodying my artistry.
ABOUT ME
I believe firmly in opening our homes and hearts to others, in creating a stronger global community, in traveling with the kindnesses of not-for-long strangers, in sharing our lives with one another. This inspires and feeds me in a very unique way.
PHILOSOPHY
When we share our homes, our hearts, our selves, we live in a culture of abundance, not scarcity, and we are never poor.

Just getting started...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I recently visited Montreal and borrowed a woman's bedroom while she was out of town. I had met her for a night a few weeks prior, and her flatmates welcomed me into their home. The kindness and generosity of strangers is outstanding. I would never have been able to afford this trip otherwise. Then and there I decided to be a more active CSer.
Interests
I love dance, improv, music (especially live music!), tea, bourbon, microbrews, medicinal herbs, wild edibles, cooking, eating, hooping, kayaking, swimming, hiking, biking, laughing, bodies of water, tracking the moon. I dream of sailing and beekeeping.

The Wizard of Oz, Juno, Goonies, 40 Year Old Virgin, Amelie, Boondock Saints, LOTR
Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Phish, Tortoise, Sigur Ros, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, Over the Rhine, Nina Simone, Tom Waits, and often times whatever horribly awesome top 40 pop songs are on the radio (guilty pleasure)
Off the Map (CrimethInc), The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, The Bluest Eye, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Machu Picchu in 2011 and almost cried when I reached the top. The ancient beauty of that place is astounding. And I am just as amazed by medicinal plants, like Spilanthes, a crazy looking plant that will numb pain and fight infections in the mouth and throat.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a budding herbalist, wildcrafter, and novice gardener, happy to share my knowledge and learn from others. I am a dancer and performing artist, teaching contact improvisation, creating works with Collective Motion dance company, and finding joy in movement. I love to cook and am always looking for new ways to nourish our bodies and souls.
