Hello! My name is Bashir, Bash for short and I am full of spunk and energy- I have a passion for life! I have travelled to a few country's and of course have extensively travelled my home country, India. I work in kashmir but travel a lot so get to stay in some awesome places. I absolutely love meeting new faces, and making friends... truly enjoying life by going out and having as much fun as possible, learning as much as I can about anything and everything.

My houseboat (which you can see in my pictures) was burned down by some tourists in December but I'd be happy to let you stay in my house - also on the Dal Lake - in a spare room. In the evenings I can take you to the houseboat of my brother so that you can still experience the life of a Kashmiri on a houseboat
I can also offer you some lovely food cooked and if you want I can offer you some treks around the kashmir valley

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's cool to meet new people, especially to someone who works from home and who sometimes feels like he is a last person in the whole world who happened to survive after zombie-apocalypse.

It all about speaking the truth I believe that everything you do will return to you: if you help somebody, somebody helps you. Sometimes india is not friendly for travellers and I'd be happy if I helped somebody to love this country.
