About Me

At the moment I'm preparing to move to my new flat. I'm in the middle of decorating it, buying furniture and all, so there's no place for any guests for the next two or three weeks. Sorry! But don't hesitate to ask if you're coming to Wrocław later :)

I'm a proud owner of two guinea pigs adopted from the animal charity called Ekostraż.

I'd really love to practice my Dutch and German with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly because of languages. I love learning them and I'd love to talk to learn new ones and practice the ones I'm already learning. Also because I love my town and know quite a lot about it, so I'd be happy to be somebody's guide. And well, visiting other countries is quite an advantage too, right? ;)

Interests

Horse riding is a great part of my life. I've been doing it for over half of my life and it helped me to hang on through some really difficult times. But it's not only about horses, I love all animals, too, and pigs are my greatest love. If you want to visit or meet me with your pet I'd be even happier. I also love learning languages, reading, watching American TV shows, teaching, growing cactuses...

Music, Movies, and Books

"Gone with the wind" and "Perfume" - excellent books with perfect film adaptations, "5 lat kacetu" by Stanisław Grzesiuk, probably known only in Poland, "Seržant" (in Polish: "Sierżant") by Miroslav Žamboch, I don't know if the book was published in English. I would change some of the compulsory readings at school for those books ;) and I usually choose watching American tv series instead of films, but there are ones that I could watch all the time ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does holding a little pig count? I find it incredibly amazing ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a teacher, so what would you like to learn? ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, San Marino, Spain, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland
