ABOUT ME

I can tel you this: I always talk while watching movies, I never go to the cinema alone, some call me a "musical daltonist", I can't make up my mind if i prefer cats or dogs but I definitely prefer chocolate than vanilla ice-cream. Oh and Johnny Depp than Brad Pitt. Absolutely. I have more than 15 orchids at home, I don't drink cofee, I'm a chocolate-addict and I think that Cola Zero is much better than Cola Light. I grew up with Harry Potter in my hand and I always believed that Snape was good (i didn't like him though).
I studied clinical psychology and worked in Psychiatric Hospital for a couple of months which changed my view of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's a been around 2 years that I'm a member of the community. I used to attend Warsaw weekly CS events regulairy untill my working time disabled it. I enjoy guiding CouchSurfers around my city.
I've never surfed on anyone's couch yet.
Short time ago I moved to new place and I'm ready to host my first Brave Surfer :D

Interests

Books, movies, cats (I have one), orchids (I plant them, I visit every exchibition I can, I never pass florist's without checking if they have any nice ones), traveling, cooking (I'm not very talented but full of a good will). I also like computer games (Civilisation, Heroes etc) but I must admit that I totaly suck on this field:P
Oh right. Psychology. Recently I got a bit fed up with it but it's been my interest for several years.
I've always loved horse riding but unfortunately I haven't got a chance to do it for a looong time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gosh, it's tough, there, I'd have to update my profile everyweek to keep that section up-to-date. I'll try to be less specific:

Books: Koontz, King, Agatha Christie, Jodi Picoult, Emily Giffin, Masterton but also Rowling, Tolkien, and many others
Movies: Horrors, thrillers, romantic comedies, psychological movies. I've never seen anything by Almadovar, I don't fully understand Allen, Tarantino is a bit too bloody for me sometimes. The movie which impressed me the most was Black Swan, probably because I worked with psychotic patienst those days.
Music is not my thing. Well, ok, I have playlist on my phone and I listen to it in the bus. You'd find there Rihanna, Beyonce, a bit of Lady GaGa, Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry, Julio Iglesias (yes), Eminem,The Black Eyed Peas, "Nine" soundtrack, Bruno Mars and some other stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far I've done nothing REALY amazing. I hope experience with CS will help me to discover more amazing and exciting side of (my) life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some polish or help you as a native speaker if you know polish a bit. I can also show you around or help witch all issues you have to deal with while moving into a new city.
