ABOUT ME

"Right now I'm living at a UWC, or United World college, with 200 students from 89 different countries, and all of us are on full scholarships, so we're from all kinds of different economic backgrounds, and all kinds of different viewpoints, and pretty much everything else. We all live together, four to a room, study together, work together, and learn together. It's pretty damn cool. T"his is where I was, now I'm at home in KY for a month and a half, where I can offer sleeping space for upwards of 20 people in a monstrous old farmhouse in the middle of the country. This holds true whether or not I'm actually there, my folks love it when cool people come through, as long as you're cool and cool with my 3yo little bro running around the house."

*"That was where I was then, now I'm in Berlin, living as a professional musician, touring and suchlike. the problem is, with all of that, I'm often called out of town on fairly short notice, so as much as I'd like to help you line up your trip two, three, six months in advance, I usually don't know what I'm doing, if I'm headed to a different country and all until the week before. So, that being said, I'm pretty good for emergency couches, and for short notice stuff, but if you're setting up your trip across Europe now, I won't be able to give you either a yes or a no I'm out of town, much as I would love to have each and every one of you come crash at my place. That was where I was, now I'm a fulltime music and spanish student @ Sewanee, the University of the South, which is midways between Nashville & Chattanooga. I'm in a dorm, but there's floor space, or I can point you towards some great camping spots, but please, please, please come by and say hi! We have an amazing place to go exploring, almost 13,000 acres, and I love getting to go out and find some new spots, which I do almost everytime I go out. See you soon,

That was then, this is now - I just finished up a year teaching in Russia, and am wandering around trying to cram as much adventure into the last couple weeks as I can. Just got back from Berlin, and am heading to Cherepovets, then Kazan via Yaroslavl, and back to Moscow before we fly home - come join me!

I have been playing piano since I was 4, so I'm not too shabby at that, and I also pick a mean bluegrass mandolin and guitar. I can juggle ( abit), and I can play Frisbee. I can also sew costumes and build computers. I speak Spanish with a funny accent, and am big and tall and white and homeschooled, thusly I can't dance.
