To give back to my community and to engage in a creative activity daily.

ABOUT ME

I volunteer and work as a literacy tutor and I also help people pass the high school equivalency test and transition into adulthood. I enjoy various activities around Indianapolis. I like to go Contra Dancing on a regular basis. If you have never tried it, it is swirly awesomeness and I'd love to show you if you are here on a Tuesday night. I like to hike and bike ride and generally be outside. I also am at work landscaping the labyrinth next to my house.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing to be a host. I plan to have my guest bedroom available soon to be able to have travelers stay with us. I also enjoy getting to know other Couchsurfers that live nearby so that we can swap stories and build community. I am more likely to go on a vacation in my own city and stay with a fellow Couchsurfer than to go traveling far and wide. I did my share of traveling when I was younger. I really enjoy my hometown of Indianapolis and I look forward to sharing it with you as a host.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have traveled to New York City, San Francisco, South Florida, North Carolina, Utah, Europe, and Mexico before I was a couch surfer. I also went on a tour of Europe when I was in middle school and paid for the trip with my paper route money. But, the most amazing thing I experienced was in my own state of Indiana. I watched the sunset over Lake Michigan and stayed to let the waves wash over me. It was amazing! I can tell you more about it in person.

I teach creative writing. I can offer a labyrinth walking experience for you if you are interested. I enjoy doing adult coloring books and can have a sheet to color and some colored pencils available for you to use when you visit.
