I want to help my kids grow up to be positive and loving people. I think meeting other positive, loving people is the best way to learn, for me as well as my kids.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The best way to make new friends is to just go out and meet people, be friendly and curious!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a Belgian guy staying with us for a week, he had never had Indonesian food, so we cooked it for him. He seemed to feel at home, we had long chats in the evenings, in the garden with some good Belgian beers and cookies. He played with the kids, helped with the dishes, and we had so much fun, what better guest could you want!! He went couchsurfing in Canada, thats how I learned about this great way of sharing.

Interests

Yoga, listening to and playing music, theatre, cooking, singing, reading, stories and fairytales, making a musical with schoolkids, long walks, sauna with a good friend, having dinner with more good friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Worldmusic, flamenco (Mayte Martin), any music that makes me either smile or cry! Best movies ever: Priscilla, Pan's labyrinth, Into the wild. Books: Harry Potter, all books by Niccolo Ammaniti.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth to Florien and Bas was the most overwhelming (and painfull...)experience ever.
