ABOUT ME

enjoy learning french language; extremely motivated to become fluent

can go out for a night on the town as easily as staying in for some conversation, reading, or watching a movie

love sports and believe competition is extremely important- volleyball, basketball, tennis... love it all

PHILOSOPHY

i believe in exploring life's options and maximizing happiness by choosing the right one, all while leaving a good mark on the people around you. think a lot of people need to chill out a bit and look at the big picture, not pity oneself or judge too quickly

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am new to this, and think it's a fantastic idea that makes the world quite a bit smaller, and hinges on the decency of people that is often hidden in these wild times... really great to hear the stories of others and pass a day or two in their life ( or at least in their house!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have yet to host...

was hosted in berlin by an awesome guy, who showed us around

also in amsterdam with a 30ish year old couple

no permanent living situation in france just yet (i'm teaching here til may 2010) but depending on the place i get would love to host

update: i have found a place on the outskirts of lyon and am willing to host! limited space...

spending 3 days hiking around in the swiss alps was the most amazing experience to date....the beauty of the landscape there is incredible
