Dear (potential) friends,

My name is Bas Kuilboer and I am from the Netherlands. At this moment I am travelling through Colombia and in about one month I will go back to the Netherlands to stay there for two weeks. After that I will start my Master degree in Barcelona and I am very excited to start this amazing adventure!

2,5 years ago I went for the first time in my life to Latin America, I have done an internship at a microfinance company in Nicaragua and lived with a host family for 6 months. After this I went to Colombia to study for 5 months, here I lived as well with a host family. Both these experiences were amazing and I am glad that I can talk proper Spanish right now.

My absolute passion is listening to music and discovering new music. At this moment reggaeton is my biggest favourite, because I learn 'good' Spanish from this. Besides listening to music I clearly love travelling and snowboarding.

I am open to all different kind of experiences and cultures and I want to learn as much possible

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to meet new local people instead of only getting to know foreigners in hostels or hotels, I really want to get to know the local cultures. Moreover I want to improve my Spanish and if anybody wants to I can help them with their English or in the most unlikely case with Dutch as well.
