ABOUT ME

What to say about me? This is a difficult question but, okay, lets do it.

My name is Bruno, I'm from Porto Santo island (Madeira) but I currently live on the outskirts of Lisbon (Paço de Arcos). Staying with me may give you the opportunity to see a different area that you wouldn't otherwise see: there are parks and beaches to explore and I have two bikes that I can lend to you. If you want to go into the city, there is a train that takes 20 minutes to reach the center. The cost is around 2€ and you can use a VIVA card.

I live with my girlfriend and we have two kids: our girl born in 2012 and our boy in 2015. We are an absolutely ordinary family. We have busy days (sometimes chaotic ones), but generally we are laid back and like being able to relax with guests.

I have a graduate degree in Theology and another one in Archeology, but I work as a Tourist Guide in Lisbon. My main hobby is motorcycle riding, reading, eating, spending time with my kids and listening music. I think I am talkative, open minded and friendly guy: love telling stories and laughing with my friends.

I host people who express genuine interest in getting to know me, spend some time with my family and participate actively in CouchSurfing. If you just want a free place to sleep, please look elsewhere.

Lots of hosts are happy to cook for guests. Sometimes I do too, but I don't like feeling obliged to cook, and I try to avoid situations where surfers come back each evening expecting a cooked meal.
