About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find something enjoyable in everything no matter how awful the situation may seem.
ABOUT ME
I am a rather tall, friendly guy. I love music and have played upright and electric bass for about 7 years now and always enjoy being exposed to the so many different kinds of music out there. I'm polite, tidy, willing to help out as much as possible, and am a great listener as well!
PHILOSOPHY
I do my best to keep myself happy and make those around me as happy as I can as well. The more smiling the better!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have actually just begun in the CS2 project so I can't say I have participated at all yet I believe it is a wonderful idea and sounds like a great way to meet lots of new people, which is pretty awesome.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had two experiences, one in Chicago for Lollapalooza and one in Columbus for Barack Obama (couchsurfing for Obama is like canvassing. actually no it's not nevermind). both were fantastic though and makes you realize that there are wonderful and exciting people everywhere who are willing to help each other out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Thailand for a month in between my sophomore and junior year of high school and did a community service project where I lived in a small village of 140 people and helped build 3 water towers, bathrooms for a school, a store for a school, taught english, helped fix roads after heavy rains, and helped around my host family's house. It was a wonderful experience especially since I knew no Thai yet we all managed to get along well and learn from each other!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about bass and would love helping someone out who's just beginning to learn the instrument. I also know a great deal about New York City and know tons of cool places to visit and great restaurants to eat at especially if you're looking for cheap and delicious food!
