About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm just your typical male Scorpio born in the year of the rat, which means I'm not very typical at all. I'm currently living in Great Falls, Montana but am planning a move to Seattle Washington this coming December. There I'll be going to school for Digital Audio Engineering. I absolutely love music. I started playing bass guitar about 13 years ago, and have taken up any other instrument I can get my hands on in the last few. My dream in life which I'm actively pursuing is to be a self-employed original musician. I find just about anything fascinating. There's gold in everything, so I can usually get along with a wide variety of people.

PHILOSOPHY

Be impeccable with your word, don't make assumptions, don't take things personally, and always do your best.

throw in a little golden rule, and that's pretty close to how I go about things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Brand new to this. Eventually I wouldn't mind being a host, but I definitely am just going to get my feet wet a bit before I take that leap. I don't think I'll be hosting while I'm in Great Falls, simply because I'm so busy with my move coming up, but will probably once I get to Seattle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet. I've got a couple friends that have had the greatest experience with it, and hope to follow suit.

Interests

Music, writing, painting, exploring nature, philosophy, meaningful conversation, cooking, movies, adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove around the perimeter of the United States in Three weeks fall of 2008. Montana to Iowa to New York to Florida to Arizona to L.A. to Oregon and then finally back in Montana. I never stayed anywhere more than two nights. All by myself, 2 oil changes, and over 7,000 miles. Pretty ridiculous journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty skilled bassist. I've given quite a few bass and guitar lessons over the years, so I definitely have knowledge to give in that area, as well as a little bit of music theory.
