About Me

CURRENT MISSION

taste every food and learn to cook every meal in the world.

ABOUT ME

Hello world, my name is basta. I'm just turned 30. I worked as innovation consultant in Berlin for a corporation which described herself as hierarchy-free. First, I was happy, founding this place to work. But step by step, I realized that "hierarchy-free" is just a slogan. I struggled with myself to stay or quite. Finally, the decision has taken by someone else. But I took the decision never doing again a job I don't really love. I decided just doing things I really like. I think it's wasting my life time doing otherwise.
I strongly belief doing something with love and passion, will make you happy and will be successful.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone carries the sun in his heart. It's up to you to make that sun shine. If you really attemp the best of people, they will show their best.
I think, if you take care of each other, you take care of yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I were busy the last years and as I had not really good hosting conditions, I weren't not that active on couchsurfing. I think since I changed my mind on what live really means, we will be more active than ever before.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Edinburgh. During a pub crawl, I met a girl who was couchsurfing and she told me a lot about it. I was really curios about it and so I decided to try it. My first host wrote my a really nice email and invited me to her place. A day before I came to her place she wrote me a second message, that I should not forget a torch and a sleeping bag. I wondered why a need a torch, but ok. When I arrived at her place, I understood. Actually, she was living in an alternative community, which is protecting ancient wood. therefor the live in tree houses. It was a really great experience and the first time that i lived in a tree house.

Interests

I love to immerse in other cultures in order to find out the little (and big) cultural differences and how they effect the daily life.
I love to understand.I'm eager to find out the underlying principel behind processes and reality(-ies). As everyone has more or less its own reality, I will find a way how to merge their perspectives and doing this, find a solution for conflicts. And I love to cook. I often invite friends for dinner, to try out a new dishes. Last but not least I like to go out for a screenpla, music, dancing and just having fun.
