We are a French couple, Julia and Bastien, currently on a 10-month journey around Asia and Oceania. We are friendly, easy-going, and we always have a smile on our faces!
For us, traveling is all about the people we meet. We love sharing stories over a meal or a drink and learning about different ways of life. We are curious by nature and always happy to have a good chat, but we also respect our hosts' space and rhythm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We believe that the best way to truly discover a country is through its people. After traveling for several months, we’ve realized that memories of landscapes fade, but memories of shared meals and conversations stay forever.
We are on Couchsurfing to experience the authentic 'Aussie' lifestyle in Brisbane, far from the typical tourist hostels. We want to share our culture, hear your stories, and contribute to the community by bringing some music and good energy to your home!

Interests

Music is a big part of my life. I love playing guitar and I’m always up for a jam session. If you have a guitar at home, I’d love to play some tunes with you!
I’m also quite active and love running. If you know any good running spots in Brisbane (like along the river), I’d be happy to join you for a morning run. Overall, we are very open-minded and always ready to discover new things, whether it's a local tradition, a hidden spot in the city, or a new type of food
