About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try new activities and get to travel more.

ABOUT ME

I'm a young professional who recently discovered the joys of travelling. I recently bought a house with my girlfriend, where we raise our little family of four. We now have a 2½ year and a 6 month old daughters, they're both absolutely adorable, but still a bit young, that's why we won't host (nor surf) for a while. I haven't connected to CS either in a while, so many information on my profile may be out of date, sorry !

PHILOSOPHY

"Si on ne vaut pas une risée, on ne vaut pas grand chose." / "If one isn't worth a laugh, one isn't worth much."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been ambassador for Quebec City some time ago, but I don't do much anymore, because my working schedule isn't great for hosting and my girlfriend and I are concentrated on raising our two daughters. I do talk about couchsurfing to people around me and stay at some people's places once in a while while travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a bunch of people and participated in and organized a few Quebec City gatherings. I also travelled using CS in Canada and Italy. I've been ambassador for Quebec City for a little more than a year.

Interests

Computers, books, learning and teaching anything and everything, science, philosophy, movies, individual sports, travelling (of course), and all those other things I forgot to talk about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical music, almost any kind of movies, adventure books, essays, theatre plays (both written and played live).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've skydived once. I saw a church service in Notre-Dame de Paris... I've beaten the expert mode of minesweaper in 167 seconds and I have proof (I had a lot of spare time at my placement job).

Teach, Learn, Share

I know the french and english languages enough to teach them. I can show you how to danse argentinian tango. I know a lot about history (both my own province and country and the world's), computers (programming), science, economy...

I'd like to learn better German and Italian and practice my (almost forgotten) Spanish. I'd also like to learn how to danse salsa and swing. I'd also love to learn about anyone's culture or one's country's history.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Northern Ireland, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
