About Me

Nice to meet you :)

Bas is from the Netherlands but lived the last 5 years in Berlin in the middle of the city. Nick is from Germany and also lived the last 5 years in Berlin. We met in Leeuwarden where we both studied! Beginning of 2019 we moved to Cologne - a new chapter in life! We are a couple since 10 years.

In 2018 we decided to quit our jobs (both working as event managers) to pack our bags and finally start to travel again. The two of us have been traveling quite some countries together (India, Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal, Chile, Sweden, France and some more European places...) Beginning of February 2018 we started our journey through South America and have seen a lot of beautiful places in Chile, Argenitina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru and Columbia. We've met many inspiring hosts on couch surfing who gave us a place to stay.

My friend and I are very caring and warmhearted people. We love nature, meeting new and interesting people and experience what ever life throughs at us. We laugh a lot and rather create a nice and funny atmosphere than a serious one.

Nic is highly interested in anything that is "new or crazy" in any way. I am a yoga teacher since 8 months and love good deep conversations about how to improve life in order to live life to your full potential. I am also a big fan of doing sport (besides football) and love to learn more about lifestlye and healthy food.

Bas is as well interested in new challenges - after five years of hard work at an event company it's time for something different. I love to cook, have good conversations (a very good listener!) and create a good enviroment for everyone around me. I try to live sustainable and to have a vegetarian life style- I am always interested in learning more about a healthy lifestyle!

I hope that you got a better understanding of us. Hope to meet you soon!!

Cheers,

Bas and Nick

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Dutch, German or English if you like and can share stories about my travels.

Also; I love to read inspiring books about live and books which make you think. We can share info about life, and talk about our dreams, our thoughts and visions (if you're not afraid :p).
