Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive offered my couch a couple of times now but I havent surfed myself yet. I hope to be able to surf some couches when I finally have more free time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

What I really like about surfers is when they find their own way, without depending too much on my additions. I love to hang out but I expect surfers to use my home as their own home and come and go when they please.

Interests

Music (I own 200 CDs, still buying new ones), going out, humor, art, nature, history, literature, coffee, whisky and lots more :)

Music, Movies, and Books

There's loads of movies, music and books I love. Such as, for movies: Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Snatch, Lockstock and 2 Smoking Barrels. For music, for example: I love nearly everything Alan Lomax ever recorded on his legendary tour through the States.
Books? I'm trying to get the hang of reading books again.. At the moment I'm reading The Ilias and also The Odyssee (both are in 1 book), The Shadow of the Wind and Duivelsmusic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things Ive seen were on holidays. Such as in the States, the Grand Canyon or the vulcano and caldera at Santorini, Greece. But I also love old archeologic sites such as Ankrotiri (also Santorini), Delos (an island next to Mykonos) and the Acropolis. I still want to see Pompei.
