About Me
The guests for whom I have hosted small events at my home describe me as an enthusiastic, easy-going, inquisitive and open minded, warm and accessible host. I love to hear people's stories, and enjoy being surprised by the food, music, movies, games or anything else they introduce.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorites change with the turn of the season, but there are some constants.
Music: from Goreçki to Godflesh, Freezepop to Fear Factory, and from Rafael Anton Irissari to Anna von Hauswolff... If it comes from an authentic musician's heart, then there is a good chance I appreciate it.
Movies: A Beautiful Mind, The Big Lebowski, Sharknado (yes, all of them), Werk Ohne Autor (English title: Never Look Away). As long as there is an absurd or heart-wrenching story that catches you off-guard, then count me in!
Books: I'm not much of a fiction reader. I typically read science magazines and psychology books that help me understand myself and the people around me. Lately though, the works of Griet op de Beeck pierced my chest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When perceived through 'Instagram' goggles then I probably haven't done outlandishly spectacular things. Corny as it may seem, but I enjoy the little things, (preferably in large quantities).
Although... I solo hiked the Southern Coastal Trail in Albania recently. That was quite an adventure.
