About Me

Social participation and volunteer work toward the improvement of our society give me passion and the happiness. I am one of the founders at Mongolian well-known youth book club named Nomtoi Nuhurlie Club (NNC), in English it could be translated as “Let’s be friend with the books club”. NNC already collected 20,000 books and we donated them to children in rural
areas of the Mongolian provinces.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Today,Our world is changing day by day. One thing that changed my life was when I was a High school student, I was helping in project of building new library in my hometown/Dzuunkharaa, Selenge, Mongolia/. I attended that project, and I understood helping and working in social works is very useful for our life. There were 30 volunteers who were student from Canada, they were trying to discover them in foreign country, also they were travelling in country's beautiful places. Since after that time, I am trying to discover myself in different ways.
I know travelling and working aren't enough to discover yourself, because, you can't understand the local culture and mind too deeply.
Therefore, First I am a young student,I wanted to explore myself. Secondly I had a dream of exploring foreign countries from grass root level.
When I first read about couchsurfing I knew I had to try it one day. After that I was attending AIESEC projects. My organizers of AIESEC helped to me to find host families during the project. I am now sure that staying at hosts is a great modern way to travel. I think getting to know local people during my travels will take the fun and experience up to another level.
