About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To educate to world on how to co-habitat with wildlife.

ABOUT ME

My mum, my boyfriend and I share a house together with our cat, dog, snake and rats. We are wildlife carers and specialise in reptiles but can have all sorts of wildlife come through our doors and any time.
We love travelling and try to go camping or overseas when-ever we can.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to educate as many people as I can about the wonders of wildlife.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are happy to offer a place to sleep and information on the local area. We all work so may not be able to take you places, but we may be able to show you wildlife that you will never see any where else (even in a zoo).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was an exchange student when I was 16, so I suppose living with a new family for 7 months is a bit like couch surfing. We have had many international people stay with us over the years through the 'Lions' organisation and through school sport groups.

Interests

We love wildlife (it occupies most of our spare time), Rubgy League, bushwalking, camping, birdwatching, international movies, motorbikes and relaxing.

Music, Movies, and Books

International movies, books relating to animals, top 40 music (don't buy CDs).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once helped a Flatback sea turtle lay her eggs on the beach. I was able to measure her, check her tag, mark the location of the nest and take photos of her. She was beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

No matter where in the world you are, please don't feed the wildlife. They can end up becoming a pest when harrassing people for a hand-out or they may be attacked by domestic animals when trying to come to get your free offering.
Let wild animals stay wild!!!
