ABOUT ME

I'm 29, fun, courteous, laughable, and like to meet new people and make up words. I can be shy at first but quickly warm up. I feel like a nerd selling myself like a used car. Please buy? I like to sing and play the guitar. I also love to bake. I know my way around the kitchen and try to be unobtrusive.

I'm not in Potwin, KA nor am I likely in California :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living life to it's fullest but I haven't been doing that lately. It's time to start! I think that if you can find the gift in any given situation you can live a much happier and fuller life. I try to navigate through the world in a respectful manner. I generally get along with most anyone and pride myself in being open minded and friendly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had few opportunities to couch surf so far. I love meeting new people and becoming more involved in the actual culture of where I am traveling instead of being just another tourist. I have met some wonderful people and had some wonderful experiences in my travels so far. I am hooked on couch surfing!

Some of my fav books include Jitterbug Perfume, Ishmael, Celestine Prophecy, Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Dry. I will pretty much read anything that has a decent story.

I listen to music all of the time. It's the soundtrack of my life. I would shrivel up and die without it. I love all types of music. Anything from opera to hip-hop. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Tool, Ani Difranco, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, Sarah Maclaughlin, Pink, Poe, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Eligh, The Grouch, Living Legends, John Legend and many, many more.

Movies are fun and anything that can make me laugh or frighten me. I also love documentaries. Top movies: Natural Born Killers, Clockwork Orange, Pulp Fiction, Finding Nemo, Resident Evil, Galaxy Quest, The Lord of the Rings, and a million more.

TV: Dexter, Lost, Veronica Mars, Law and Order SVU, Friday Night Dinner, Leverage, Brothers and Sisters, Rome, and more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One time I hiked into a lake that was unoccupied. I stood on some rocks and sang out over the lake during a full moon. It was a pretty incredible feeling.

I can cook and bake and I'm not terrible at it. I can also sing and repair a bike or attempt to. I'm mechanical and like to put things together. Yay.

I would like to learn to play more music (acoustic guitar). Also, Italian language tips would be most welcome and helpful!
