About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try to stay alive

ABOUT ME

Ahhh i find it way to difficult to write about myself so i'll give you all a summary.

I love music, hip hop to punk to jazz to electro to folk, pretty much anything with mad phresh beats. Although i must apologise to those who like house music, i think House is a bit shit - at least the new stuff.

I love film, wont bother making another boring list but i will say that the latest film that blew my mind was 'There Will Be Blood'. If you havent seen this film i beg you to do so Daniel Day Louis is amazing!

I think I probably only have a few idols, Woody Allen, Bob Dylan and George Orwell would have to be there.

PHILOSOPHY

It takes so much more energy to be angry and negative, then it does to be positive and happy. So why would you bother being hateful? Especially when there are so many amazing people out there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosting and surfing on and off since 2009. It really depends on the place that I'm living and the amount of time I have spare. I don't like to host people if I'm short on spare time because I think the whole point of CS is to show people around the city that you live in and love, and to give people an experience that they would never find in a travel book.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only the best of experiences. I surfed through London, Berlin and Paris in 2009 and have hosted people sporadically over the past few years. I love meeting new people, learning new things, sharing ideas and promoting the core values of CS, harmony, togetherness, the spirit of adventure.

Interests

Politics, History, Music, Film, Space Exploration!

Geeze i dunno, i think the only thing im not interested in is boring conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

AHHHHH SO MANY AMAZING THINGS!

I spent some of my life in the Australian bush, we had a Wombat that lived under our house and it used to walk around at night time with its little baby!

Climbing an isolated, dilapidated and crumbling part of the Great Wall was amazing.

One time I saw a Kookaburra swoop down from a tree and catch a snake in its beak.

Montserrat in spain - Amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you heaps about Australian Music! From Paul Kelly to The Saints to Tame Impala!

I've studied politics and gender studies, so if you're interested in those things we can sit down over a cup of tea or a pint of beer and share ideas!

I can teach you how to roll a really awesome joint . . . if you're so inclined ;)
