Interests

Reading, traveling and gardening are how I spend much of my time. I'm interested in learning more about sub-Saharan Africa, North India, and East and South-East Asia. I am also interested in learning more about philosophy, science and how to build a better society. I hope to visit each continent at least once, on my fourth at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books I adore include 'Stumbling upon Happiness' 'A Brief History of Nearly Everything' 'The White Tiger' 'Half of a Yellow Sun' and the 'Time Machine'.
As for movies 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' 'Up' and 'Momento' are some favorites. And for music, I do love Florence and the Machine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling the vast Mongolian steppe, teaching amazing young Korean students and exploring ancient Ankor.
