Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: anything that opens my mind to feel and learn more about the world ( and is beautifully shot!) Music: everything as long as its good! love reggae, soul, drum and bass, minimal techno, jazz, blues, country, rock, trad, cheesy pop songs etc, pretty much everything!
Books: I like a nice rotation between factual and fiction books. In the fiction department: Cloud Atlas and the 1000 Autumns of Jacob De Zoet, Poetry: Seeing Stars by Simon Armitage, Factual: Subliminal, the power of the unconscious in every day life, Cancer; a biography and what I'm reading now; Whole: rethinking nutrition, and The Moneyless Manifesto ,I also love photography magazines especially foam.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I went to Mongolia for a month working in an orphanage. It was great as its the furthest ive ever been on my own. I found it so inspiring to be able to pick somewhere on the map of the world, raise the money to go and just go, without waiting for anyone else to want to do it. I was in my element!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach some basics of Irish but I don't know how useful that would be! Maybe some vegan cooking, and I can move my ears. That would be useful!!
I want to learn how to live a more sustainable life and I'm also really interested in learning about working with with older people, alternative nursing homes and ecological communities around the world.
