About Me

Get the most out of life and learn as much as I can along the way!

Have done a bit of travelling (not enough!) and love meeting new people from all over this lovely planet of ours.

We think we are searching for the meaning of life, but what were really searching for is an experience of being alive!

Heaven is here and now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to host and travel with CS, sharing my knowlege of where im from and learning from the folk I meet along the way!

Have hosted some really lovely folk and really enjoyed it!

Experiencing great life moments, taking photographs, volunteering in the back of beyond, devouring fantastic books, long drives to random places, eating super tasty vegan food, getting my hands dirty, sleeping, drinking (yum yum), dancing and laughing at the same time, watching awful television, finding internet treasure, meeting people who inspire me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: anything that opens my mind to feel and learn more about the world ( and is beautifully shot!) Music: everything as long as its good! love reggae, soul, drum and bass, minimal techno, jazz, blues, country, rock, trad, cheesy pop songs etc, pretty much everything!
Books: I like a nice rotation between factual and fiction books. In the fiction department: Cloud Atlas and the 1000 Autumns of Jacob De Zoet, Poetry: Seeing Stars by Simon Armitage, Factual: Subliminal, the power of the unconscious in every day life, Cancer; a biography and what I'm reading now; Whole: rethinking nutrition, and The Moneyless Manifesto ,I also love photography magazines especially foam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I went to Mongolia for a month working in an orphanage. It was great as its the furthest ive ever been on my own. I found it so inspiring to be able to pick somewhere on the map of the world, raise the money to go and just go, without waiting for anyone else to want to do it. I was in my element!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some basics of Irish but I don't know how useful that would be! Maybe some vegan cooking, and I can move my ears. That would be useful!!
I want to learn how to live a more sustainable life and I'm also really interested in learning about working with with older people, alternative nursing homes and ecological communities around the world.

Countries I’ve Visited
