I'm a young french student in medecine. My real passion and motivation is TRAVELLING. I'm found of islands and especially french overseas territories (like New Caledonia, Guadeloupe and La Réunion). I really like the notion of insularity and virgin places. Later, i'd like to be doctor in French Polynesia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe a succesful travel is made of 3 elements. The first one is the "places" (monument like Eiffel tower, sydney opera house, statue of liberty), it's the easier to reach. the second one is the "people". I really want to meet new people, their culture and way of life and share some days with them. This is the reasoon why i'm here! The last element is "moment" like national day, be for Easter in Rome or new year in Times Square.

Pour moi, un voyage réussi est composé de trois éléments. Le premier est les LIEUX à visiter tels que la tour Eiffel, la statue de la liberté ou l'opéra de Sydney. La plupart des touristes ne prennent en compte que cet élément. Pour ma part, je tiens à saisir les MOMENTS, c'est le deuxième élément. C'est insaisissable, comme être à Rome pour Paques ou dans un pays lors de la fête nationale. Enfin, le troisième éléments est les PERSONNES. Trop de personnes visitent un pays sans s'impregner de la culture du pays, sans rencontrer de locaux ni échanger avec eux. C'est pour éviter ça que je suis sur Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I want to relate two stories:
-3 years ago, I didn't planned anything for my holidays. So, I decided to make a "multi directionnal sign". I had this project in my mind for many years. I decided the places that I prefer in the world, I calculated the distance between my home and the place. I built it for a month thanks to wood, paint and nail. I'm very proud of the result, you can see it in my profile pic in couchsurfing.
-2 years ago a friend and I wanted to expore France together. we took our bikes and for 2 weeks, we joined Sètes (on méditereanen cost) from Bordeaux (on Atlantic cost) along the "Canal de la Garonne" and the "Canal du Midi". We did 654km and we visited amazing places in France countryside like Moissac, Carcassone,... It was an incredible experience!!

-Il y a 3 ans, je n'avais pas prévu de partir pendant le mois de Juillet. J'ai donc décidé de réalisé un vieux projet que j'élaborais depuis des années: fabriquer ce que j'appelle un "panneau multidirectionnel". J'ai trouvé les lieux qui me font le plus rêver, j'ai calculé les distances depuis ma maison, découpé, peint, cloué pendant un mois! Je suis très fier du résultat, vous pouvez voir ma photo de profil sur Couchsurfing.
-Il y a deux ans, avec un ami nous voulions explorer la France profonde. Nous avons pris nos vélos et nous avons rejoint Sète en partant de Bordeaux en empruntant le canal de la Garonne puis le canal du Midi. Nous avons visité de nombreux chateaux, églises,... Au final nous avons pédalé 654km, c'est une expérience incroyable!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to share the culture and the way of life of the country that I visit. Meet some local inhabitants is the better way to reach this goal. I'm also able to cook some french food!!
