ABOUT ME
loves good conversations and likes to see the road less travelled.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There is an excitement to meeting strangers from 'foreign' lands and discovering that we're more connected and alike than we might have expected.
Now that my husband Sugu and I have our own space, we have been open to hosting guests:)
Interests
Am a trained Indian Classical Dancer (Bharathanatyam). I appreciate any art form and am drawn to works that seek to inspire and that transcends language, culture and technicalities. All it takes to be a good audience is an open heart:)
I appreciate nature and nature seems to be my gateway to pauses in life, to take stock, to energise, be humbled and connect with the higher power.
FOOD! Give me food and I am a happy woman!
Travelling - which is why I even bothered to fill out this really long profile

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - Have a pretty wide range. Begun with romance fiction when I was a teen and is currently stagnated at social work related (mostly academic) books and journals. Particularly like the works of Paulo Coelho, Rumi, Osho and Murakami.
Music - Classical Indian Music - especially Bombay Jayshree! , anything that streams on my Norah Jones channel on Pandora, AR Rahman's 90s Tamil songs ... it's a pretty non-exhuastive list.
Movies - Not really a movie buff. A latest one that I watched that left me speechless was 'The imitation game'. Again, any movie that tells a good story, I'm in!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one? Haha, it's hard to say one. Life is a string of amazing things that am thankful for.
