ABOUT ME

I am 28 and living in the south of Bavaria near the Alps. I love spending my time in the mountains. During the summer I enjoy climbing up the mountains in my region and in the winter I’m skiing and snow boarding. I enjoy the view that you get on the mountain peaks. When I’m standing somewhere very high and suddenly see so much of the world around me, I feel very connected to the world and the nature.
Some of my other hobbies are swimming, diving, cycling, inline skating and running.
Due to my profession often away for a long time – that’s why I have only little time just for myself. This remaining time I want to life as intense as I can and want to do as many things as I can.
I like meeting new people and I’m interested in everything new (that’s why I am actually excited about this website). I’m curious to which places this new opportunity leads me and who I’m getting to know through this portal.

I have a couch in my flat and when I'm at home I offer surfers lodging by night and a trip through Bavaria or the mountains by day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is amazing what different kind of people use couchsurfing. Everyone I met through couchsurfing was a new experience and it was a experience I don't want to miss.

Interests

My interests are various. Mainly I like doing sports and spending time with friends whenever I can. But due to the many times I had to move my home my friends are spread all over the country and I see most of them very seldom. This is also a reason why I am travelling very often.
In the evening I like to go out to some bars and have some fun. I also enjoy an evening on the couch with friends, a good movie and bottle of wine or some whisky. When there is no one around or I need my regeneration time I like reading or some games on the PC.

Music, Movies, and Books

In this field I'm really open minded. I like all kind of music: From Mozart to Snoop Dog and from country music to house.
My favourite books are mostly fantasy novels, but there are also some practical guides and biographies in on book shelf.
Movies are similar to my music taste, except I don't like horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a rainbow out of the window of a plane. It was a complete cycle and due to the good light refraction I could three coloured rings. I have read about this before and was happy to see it with my own eyes.
