Overview
About Me
I am a Kurdish-Turkish guy living in Istanbul as a student at Koç University . I believe that people who have always the same people around them are missing a big happiness in life, in other words happiness for me is just always knowing new people. So;
It is always good to know all of you!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of travelling by actually being with people from the country. As well as I enjoy having guests at my place and letting them be a part of our turkish life at least for some days.
Interests
Everything possibly funny! :)
Hitchhiking rocks!
Sports (football, table tennis, swimming, squash, ..)
Music - listening and playing: I play Bağlama, a traditional turkish instrument (the one that looks like a guitar)
People !
Music, Movies, and Books
Better to keep it for talks..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-I have hitchhiked from Montpellier/France to the most south of Italy- Lecce by crossing whole Italy in 24 hours just to catch a party in a beach..
-Just because I didn't have money to fly back to Turkey from Thailand, I bought a flight to Iran, stayed there for a week (5 of the days without money :)), then took some busses for 30 hours to Turkey. Love being poor !
Teach, Learn, Share
I am open and curious about everything! The history of your town, country, traditonal food, culture ..
I can teach you Turkish and Kurdish swear words ;)
Hopefully we can share some good talks, laughter, simply a good time! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you are gonna stay at my place and if my mom is around, consider yourself lucky. You will have the chance of tasting my mom's food which is definitely priceless, believe me :)
But if I am gonna stay at your place I always like to keep some delights in my bag to share with my hosts..
