I was born in 1982, my home has always been in or close to Antwerp, Belgium.
I think my interest in travelling started when I was about 7, when I went on scouting camp in a small village in the Ardennes, in the southeast of Belgium, surrounded by a lot of forests, big hills, wild rivers where I tried to build dams, beautiful views from the top of hills, ...

Of course I like to travel :)
But I don't want to experience the kind of trip that tourist brochures are trying to sell me. I'd rather like to discover the world of the real people of the place I'm visiting.

Wild untouched nature, where you feel very tiny as a human
Having a good time with friends: laugh, play, enjoy, ... you know: live!
Beer, not only the Belgian ones, although they are hard to beat. I've got a degree in beer, I like discovering new beers, not drinking as much as possible.
