ABOUT ME

I am into art, photography, museums, and galleries. I'm also a big NPR nerd and relate to this american life episodes daily! Also super into the productive side of punk rock and DIY counterculture, bicycles, zines, and playing music. Pretty much like every other urban nerd.

PHILOSOPHY

We only live once, lets have (semi-constructive) fun, I am pretty laid back. I don't really get all too high strung. California might be responsible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sadly I cannot really host people right now because a. the couch is in my room and b. my roommates in NY aren't open to it. Maybe I can hang out.

Mainly friends that moved away. Hosting people in Oakland.

Interests

I enjoy being creative, hiking, riding my bike everywhere, cooking rad vegetarian dishes, film photography, hanging out, going to punk shows, crawling through used book stores, and playing music.

Punk, post punk, Hardcore, friends with funny/awesome acoustic jams, blues, rap, mostly anything.

Books I enjoy stuff like albert camus, emma goldman, zines, self published things, lolita, 1984, WE, phillip k dick, classics,kurt v, richard wright.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sad but true, I am really not that well traveled. I have ridden my bicycle 200 miles down the california coast, three times. I have been to a music festival in Austin TX, and checked out the thousands of bats there on the congress bridge. I went to Mexico and did Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Guanajuato! I loved Mexico! I have watched fireworks on a beach in Montreal, and ate vegan "chicken and waffles" in Toronto. I live in Brooklyn and have actually gotten a package from FEDex.

I am kind of a dinosaur who uses film to take photos, Maybe even give you a killer default photo on couch surfing? I can cook a few things really well... like home made biscuits, mac and cheese, california style burritos... comfort food!
