I like travelling and other cultures and over all ideas. Individualism is important to me. Since I´m 18 years old I do hitchhiking or lifting. My studies are Social Work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to show people, that you can trust other people. There is not just war, death and catastrophy in this world. For this I am writing an autobiography called "Friendly world". It is up to your own brain and thoughts how you see the world.

One posibility is using couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I forgot my login-password, I had Couchsurfing Experience in Arles (France) and Antigua (Guatemala). All over the world I have had met nice people, including couchsurfing.

I really loved movies and songs. Fo long years I was addicted to them. In 2011 I could stop it a lot. Therefore I try to get off.

I have read a lot but now I have a lot to do with my personal future that there is no time left.

The Rainbow

The Rainbow is a symbol of diversity including diversity of people, so it is a symbol of understanding between people. Of course it has a lot to do with the intercultural spirit of the world cup 2010 in South Africa. Archbishop Desmond Tutu, laureate of the nobelprize of peace, calls gladly South Africa´s population “God´s children of the rainbow”.

The snake in the sea is the Rainbow-Snake. It had created ridges, gorges and mountains in dreamtime (a mystic past in which the universe and all beings had been created). Those ridges, gorges and mountains synbolises the red field beneath the Rainbow-Snake.

The ship, it is Noah´s Ark, that you find in the thora, in the old testament as well as in coran. Therefore it unites all monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christendom and Islam). From Noah´s travel until the last supper the Rainbow represents the bonding between god and humankind. In many (maybe in all) cultures you find the Rainbow, including as a symbol of hope, so it unites us.

The friendly and happy people on the Rainbow symbolise the world´s population. Josef Blatter and Nelson Mandela dance peacefully side by side. Nelson Mandela has, on the zenit, a special role. He campaigned, under exceeding difficult circumstances (apartheid), for human and democratic values, as a result he suffered from hard punishment. Josef Blatter and Nelson Mandela had worked together for staging the world cup 2010.

The Rainbow is also a sign for homosexuals. Therefore the picture shows gay people. Poverty is also part of human societies, therefore a homeless man is also among the people on the Rainbow. While I was listening to the Irish song “Dance above the rainbow” I got the idea for the picture. Therefore I had painted Michael Flatley, he is an stepp-dancer with irish roots. His head is in the green field. The green color is like the country he presentates with his dancing: “Ireland the green island”.

For the planes I had American Buffalo-fighting-planes, which had been in action during the battle of Midway (Japan vs. USA, 1942), as orientation. The basis at the island had had the radio-name “Noah´s Ark”, the planes had had the names “Rainbow 1”, “Rainbow 2”, …;
That they had been activly involved in a world war should be a warning.

It shows also the deeper meaning of conflicts. The battle took part in 1942, just a few years later, in which tousands or even millions of people died, the political conditions had changed dramaticly. Japan and the USA established friendship, linked by the Marshall-Plan, further important networks of friendship (like the UNO) had been built up, but conflicts continued between regions (“East” and “West”), races (“Apartheid”) and religions (“United Kingdom”).

The faces above the planes are from the “Ring-Wraits” or “Nazguls” from “The Lord of the rings”. The dark Lord Sauron had enslaved them for his tempt to bear down all free people of “Middle-Earth”. Their breath had caused the “Black Shadow”, a horrible desease. But Buddha they cannot harm. By meditation he could use all disturbing feelings for his spiritual development and sympaty for all beings. According to a legend he changed arrows into lotus-blossoms. In the picture he changes the “Black Shadow” into the colors of the Rainbow, except orange:

During the war in Vietnam a huge amount of Agend orange was split for taking cover for the Vietcong. Agend orange has brought a biological desaster. Plants, animals and humans suffer from it until present. Therefore I had drown orange blossoms and the ancient egyptain “Anch-“ or “Lifesigns”.

Left above is a face, which looks distrustfully at what´s going on. It thinks that just other people cause problems and conflicts. The own behaviour it doesn´t reflect. These are very comfortable attitutes, but they jam human development. Because of those reasons the face wears just tiny little and pink glasses. (In German we say someone looks through pink glasses if we want to say someone doesn´t realize situations or facts). The mirrow has also to do with it. With the red frame and the strips it wants to warn the face: “Be careful, something strange is going on here”. But with the pink surface it mirrows shows just the named attitutes.

In German there is the term “Ivory tower of science”. The eye symbolizes the academic research which can bring facts about social processes to light. Education, the second part of science, can help to modify the together-living of humans, that the risk of xenofobia can be reduced.

The face doesn´t realise the extremly hot sun-raywhich can´t pass the heavy rain-cloud. Without the cloud the sun-ray would hurt the face but it is just fed up from the “bad weather”. Without clouds there won´t be any Rainbow.
