I'm Kaan, from Turkey. I'm 22 or 23, it doesn't matter, I didn't count it after when I was 5.

I'm kinda newbie here, so I have not much references yet. But I swear that I'm not murderer or I don't steal your kidneys. Maybe one kidney, who knows?

In fact I study Radio, Television and Cinema in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently, I study Film Studies in Brno, Czechia for one year, as an Erasmus student. Briefly, something about movies, who cares?

My superpower is "ability to sleep at anywhere". For the attention of esteemed hosts! ;)

It's my first time in the mainland Europe and I'm planning to use this chance to travel and meet people. C'mon! We're human beings and we must explore!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen so many different genres of music, each one is best in its own right. To give some examples; Tuvan throat music, Arabic reggae, NDH metal, Swedish folk rock, Mongolian punk, psychedelic rock, country etc. Some of my favorite singers/bands: Rammstein, Tom Waits, Boney M., Hayko Cepkin, Boogie Balagan, Huun-Huur-Tu, Ramy Essam, Lordi, System of a Down, Goran Bregovic, Haggard, Garmarna, Hanggai...

Movies are like a duty for me because of my department. But to pick one, I'm a huge Tarantino fan. Also my other favorite directors are Jim Jarmusch, Martin McDonagh, Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson, Coen Brothers, Onur Ünlü, Jaco Van Dormael... For some reason, I don't like Hitchcock and I hate Spielberg.

My favorite book is Oblomov by Ivan Goncharov, because this book is literally about me. Also I like Stefan Zweig, George Orwell. But generally, I'm not a book person cuz lazy to read them.
