ABOUT ME
I have been traveling for a few years now along with my very loyal and polite dog, Basil. We've hitch hiked thousands of miles together all throughout the US and Mexico. We spent half a year traveling with a nomadic tribe of people who move by horse through Chiapas, Mexico. Nowadays I am in route to Mongolia from Holland in a Land Rover named the LuckDragon. A group of friends and I will trade the vehicle for horses and spend the summer treking accross the Mongolian steppe!
PHILOSOPHY
“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.”
― Terence McKenna

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I had a house up in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, I hosted many travelers, but for the last few years I've been living out of a backpack. I'm so grateful for the many couches, floors, RVs, backyards, buses, church pews, vans, porches, hammocks and even beds I've been offered! I've met so many kind and generous people, made so many lasting friendships, and it has really restored my faith in humanity.
