I was born in Indonesia and spent 20 years there before moving to New Zealand for study.

I just returned from a 3 years overseas work posting in Africa and thinking of taking few months break to travel around before starting a small business in food industry in Indonesia.

I am a typical introvert yet down to earth person who enjoy conversation with new people. Everyone has different story of their life that shape their point of view and I found that interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have gained my interest in Couchsurfing long time ago but recently just decided to take a break from work and do nothing but travelling and meeting new people. I believe travelling is not complete without getting to know the local culture and tradition. And the best way to do that is by getting a first hand experience from the locals - something that we would certainly miss if we join a tour agent or renting our own private accommodation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working in Nigeria for over 3.5 years has been the most memorable experience I've done. Can't believe I am still alive, lol. After all, Nigeria is not as bad as what others might hear about from the outside.
