About Me

CURRENT MISSION

be kind

ABOUT ME

I'm a writer, reader, wannabe yogi. I love meeting people and finding out what they're passionate about. I'm a single mom of two kids, but I won't be couchsurfing with them. I travel solo a few times a year.

PHILOSOPHY

Love everything. Travel often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can help people find their way around Phoenix. What the good places to eat and find music are, etc. I may be able to host, depending on whether my kids are with me when you come to town and whether I'm traveling or not.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at a gorgeous place in San Francisco, met cool people, saw new music. It was grand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was driving from AZ to Colorado. It was just before dawn, and the dog I'd rescued on the res was panting so much I couldn't sleep, so instead I drove the winding highway in Utah. The sun was coming up over the hills, the world smelled amazing, Modest Mouse was on the CD player. It was one of those moments when happiness was distilled. Then a deer jumped in front of me and the car flipped. We were all ok. There's a lesson there about winding roads and how life can change very quickly.
