Hi everyone! Im Bárbara and I'm 26 years old. I live in La Plata, Argentina (Buenos Aires). I'm finishing my Architecture and Urban Planning grade at the UNLP. My great-grandfathers were polish and ukraine so I dance at Union Polaca en Berisso (typical dances) to keep my polish roots alive. In my free time I love going out with my sister/boyfriend/friends.
I am at a gluten-free diet since 10 years because I have celiac desease. But there is not a problem at all for me. I don't have any trouble with "cross contamination" food. I love all food, meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, so I hope it is not a problem during my stay.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I won my second scholarship to go to visit Poland and learn the language. My great-grandparents were from Poland, they escaped the 2nd War and came to Argentina in 1923. In our family we try to keep the traditions that they left to my grandmother.
I'm very excited to travel again to the country where they grew up. I went to Poland in 2019 with another scholarship (a travel one), with my sister, my boyfriend and 3 friends. It was an unique experience and I'm so grateful to be able to return to the country I love most!!!

The last time I used CS was in 2019, in Ukraine, Netherlands and Germany. I loved meeting each guest that offered us their house with their arms open. I really enjoyed to share with the families we met the meals, some walks around the city, and of course the conversations full of different experiences about our contries.

I'm looking for a stay in Poland since June 29, until July 5. And since July 27 until August 2. I would like to visit Warsaw on August 1st to attend the Powstanie Warszawskie.
