Hi, I'm an artist from Canada (Vancouver Island/Montreal) and spend most the year in Mexico City making art. I love exploring different parts of the city, and when I get the chance, different parts of the world :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have couchsurfed through the US, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Turkey, but through Hospitality Club I haven't actually couchsurfed much with this website yet, hence the small number of references.

Oh, nearly everything. Arts, music, film, etc. Reading, hearing tall tales, finding strange objects on the ground, smiling.

Too many to list at the moment, can talk about movies for hours. I've noticed I tend to gravitate towards media that one could describe as "bittersweet", whatever that means, and I have a weakness for coming-of-age tales.

I teach art appreciation part-time. It's hard to really share as a transferrable skill, but try me.

I'd love to be able to reciprocate any hospitality with a little piece of art. I know it takes a lot to be able to host somebody, so I guess that's one little way of giving back.
