About Me
CURRENT MISSION
resist and survive...fight the man!
ABOUT ME
I've been on my own since 17, always had a job, not a career. I believe a job is just a way to make money to do the things you want to do like travel with friends.
I am very much a Taurus (loving my home and hearth and stubborn sometimes)
I am a very loyal friend but can get my feelings hurt easily by strangers
I have very strong beliefs about things like animal cruelty, american political history, and living by the golden rule
I am a short blonde chick with a loud laugh and tattoos. I sometimes drink and smoke and swear too much.
I am more comfortable in a dive bar than an upscale wine bar or coffee house
My favorite thing is to be at a beach reading a good book. My next favorite thing would be to be on the back of a motorcyle, on a boat, on a mountain or in the desert looking at beautiful scenery on a gorgeous day
PHILOSOPHY
My friends are the family I chose. Therefore, the people closest to me are very important in my life. I believe you are always better off than where you 5 years ago and to never stop moving forward even if it feels hopeless. I read Marcus Arelius each morning to remind me I can only control myself and my actions, and at the end of the day I ask myself could I have done something better, been nicer etc. I believe everyone has something to enlighten another person about sometime in their life and hopefully the timing is right. I believe in karma and personal responsibility and standing up for the little guy because we all have been little guys somewhere, sometime.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a musician in Florida and told him if he was passing thru he could sleep on my couch. He ended up staying over 6 months in my porch. Being he was from Puerto Rico I kept giving him blanket after blanket the closer we got to Christmas, but he hung in there til right after New Years Eve!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
one year in the south dakota badlands there was a storm coming and you can see it all around the desert, the lightning and clouds and everything. And this powerful wind was rushing thru everything and i heard a snap and the guy on the motorcycle right in front of us, a tree fell right in front of his bike and he went down, jumped up and was okay and everyone stopped and moved all the branches out of the road and we took shelter in a pole barn and watched the storm swirl all around us but it didn't rain one drop on us. was pretty wild
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied sports massage for a long time and know a bit about herbs.
I would like to learn about other countries political systems and how that works
