ABOUT ME

Wow. I have beard. At the moment. Thats the main thing. The beard.
I am historically a nomad. I work on commercial fishing boats. No! Not the deadliest catch! But maybe like, the second deadliest catch. Its a different sort of life - dangerous, exciting, chances for a big payday, lots of time off, hard hard hard work with very little sleep. Long vacations. It fun, its different, and its pretty important (we feed people!).
I am into bicycles. Down with the whole sustainability thing. Try to keep my impact to a minimum while still having fun. I'd like to do yoga teacher training this spring...maybe in Atitlan.

PHILOSOPHY

I wake to sleep and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I have to go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new. And couchless. For now. I do have a two-person tent and a station wagon. You are welcome to sleep in either if you want to go camping.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent a month at the Bosque Village (eco-village) for a month. Go there if you can - its rad! And beautiful! And off the grid! Reading by candlelight! Settlers of Catan also by candlelight! Music! Bonfires! Love!

I've wwoofed before too but aside from that not much couchsurfing. All my friends are telling my I have to join up, to at the very least meet some awesome people. Can't wait!

I am okay at yoga. I could teach you some of that.

I am the cook on my boat! I can cook! We can cook!

Need a book to read? I used to teach HS English. I can help (no grammar questions though).

I am learning to do headstands. Once I get it down, I will show you.

Also, the making a frog or snake by intertwining your fingers thing. I can show you how to do that.
