About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To bring smiles and fly miles

ABOUT ME

I'm one fun-loving individual that's on a quest to travel every part of the world and share experiences with the people in it. I strive to create: movie scripts, songs, freestyle raps, and drinking games (haha!). I am blessed with limitless energy and motivated by my intense passion and undying curiosity to learn and experience all I can about the world around me.

I love meeting interesting people, trying new things and being adventurous. Spontaneity is my motto and optimism is my way of life.

PHILOSOPHY

Positivity breeds positivity. Action fosters growth. Memories may fade, but the most positive moments you will carry forever.

"You see that house, that field, and that road out there? That's my home"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couch surfing however I'm really looking forward to filling this box up.

Interests

I'm fascinated by world history, particularly 16-19th century European history and the clash of east and west. Current events and global politics are always a hot topic with me.

Playing sports is an everlasting hobby of mine: Basketball & Volleyball I would say are my forte (and not just because I'm tall haha). However I dabble in soccer, tennis and currently learning how to surf.

Videogames are fun, when I'm not getting pwned at Halo 3, I'm usually owning at Super Smash bros. brawl.

Writing scripts has been a passion of mine since middle school, however I've been putting off some projects of mine which I intend to get back into very soon.

Exercise is a big stress reliever for me, I can be found quite often jogging along the Newport beach boardwalk listening to my Ipod.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:  I'm liking indie rock & synth-pop right now, been listening to the radio dept quite alot recently as well as holy ghost!. Vampire weekend, beirut, blur, grizzly bear and Ra ra riot are some favorites of mineElectronic/House, I really like Dirty South and Swedish house mafia. I also randomly listen to 90's pop songs, the cornier the better, and when the mood's right some jazz. Movies: When it comes to movies I'm pretty particular, not to say that I have a strange taste in films, it's just I'm sort of a movie buff. For me I enjoy movies that intrigue/mentally stimulate me, with strong characters and writing. The Usual Suspects, Memento, A Clockwork Orange come to mind. Snatch, Mulholland Drive, Eyes wide shut, Dark City & Fight Club are definite favorites. At the same time I have an affinity for classic adventure flicks, especially the Indiana Jones trilogy and the old James Bond films. When it comes to comedy, I've loved Ace Ventura: Pet detective since I was 5.Books: I have a particular tendency to read books of movies I've seen and repeatedly being impressed; Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, Planet of the Apes by Pierre Boulle, and The Godfather by Mario Puzo. Also some classics, The Great Gatsby, Metamorphosis, a Tale of Two Cities, 1984, Homer's Iliad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started a 20-person chant after Armin Van Burren's 9 hour set on New Years Eve, with him subsequently playing the song we were chanting while pointing to me and giving a friendly wink.
