I live in Cuernavaca, Mexico, but am in NOLA/Covington every month and a half or so for work.

I'm an educator, practice yoga, play volleyball, bike as much as possible, really get into Unbreak My Heart at karaoke, and am an ally/activist/advocate. RPCV Sierra Leone. I'm happiest when I'm sleeping in my tent.

Just finished grad school on the east coast, spent two months in India learning how to teach yoga and silently meditate. Currently in Cuernavaca, Mexico hanging out with my grandparents, picking up the language, and teaching geography to 7th graders.

But that's just logistics. More broadly, I'm trying to gracefully fit as many experiences as possible into the limited amount of time I have here.

Steinbeck, Marquez, Allende, Irving, Adichie, Tom Robbins, love movies and documentaries. I truly enjoy cooking, and eat everything. The Wire, and I occasionally stream sports on my computer, because there are a couple teams that need my support in order to succeed, and I want that for them. I sing and come from a family of musicians, so music is also an important part of my life.
