ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Southern California near the wonderful Pacific Ocean. I have had the good fortune of learning through traveling and living abroad. I lived for two years in Mongolia, a year in Japan and a year in England with many trips in between. Currently I work on agriculture in Afghanistan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed many times and hosted several times. I would love to return the favour to the larger CS community, though need to be situated in one place for a bit to achieve the dream of hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have CouchSurfed in Guatemala, Mexico and the US. All were amazing experiences and wonderful in opening my eyes to the power of CS!
Interests
I like so many things. Hiking, conversation, music, laughing, cooking, playin' dice, understanding different perspectives, learning about food systems, things analog.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well darn, I am much more of a music enthusiast than books or movies, but here it goes:
books: educational types, non-fiction, things by Jon krakauer. I want to read more by Stienbeck and Hemingway but right after I get through Raising Milk Goats the Modern Way.
Movies: adventurous ones, documentaries and suspense. I do have a soft spot in my heart for zombie movies.
