ABOUT ME
Well it has been about a year since I returned from my nomadic life in Asia and South America. I have now rejoined the workforce of the US. Since I got back I worked hard and got my firefighter & EMT certifications, and I am now a firefighter down on the beautiful coast of TX (haha not really that beautiful). I must say it's bitter sweet to be here now. The economy is tough now and I appreciate that I have a great job and can support myself. This being said I would be happier if I were penniless hitch hiking the roads of South America to no where. I guess now I am trying to figure out how to balance "responsible me" with "adventurous me". Now I have my own place where I can host and have the world come to me.
PHILOSOPHY
Go with the flow. Out of sight out of mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't have a couch, but I have a blow up mattress. I must warn you though. I have chosen a pretty simple lifestyle. I don't have a TV, a couch, or even a chair for that matter. I like to try and find other things to keep busy and live my life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately I discovered CS at the end of my trip, so I don't have many experiences. My first and only real couch surf was with who is now a good friend in Ecuador...which basically became another home for me.
Interests
I am addicted to traveling...I am always trying to figure out what my next adventure will be.
I'm open to most anything. I love people, animals, and the outdoors. I am the happiest under the water. I discovered freediving in Maui, Hawaii and have loved it ever since. It is the ultimate freedom. I have also just recently started getting in to triathlon training...we'll see how that goes.
