About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To always discover new things.
ABOUT ME
This is a joint profile created by Candace and Bonnie. We are two kind, honest and laid back Canadians, both in university or just completed.
Bonnie is currently volunteering in Mexico and finishing up her Bachelor of Arts in Religion.
Candace is currently living in Australia, working as an au pair. She just completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and Dramatic Arts.
Occasionally I like to go out and have a crazy night but mostly I am happy spending time with some good people, talking over drinks. I love walking down new paths, taking in some lovely scenery, checking out local markets and cafes, and enjoying good food.
PHILOSOPHY
the more people that you meet and the more places that you go the more you understand the people who live around you. I think that helps you figure out the type of person you want to be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mainly through couch surfing events.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mainly used for meeting new people. Hopefully I'll be able to do some actual surfing and hosting soon, but for now I am happy to attend some events and meet locals.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy seeing live music! Love going to a nice pub to see a band. Generally I like folk music, blues, bluegrass, some classic rock, and alternative. Bands I am listenning to right now include Broken social scene, Feist, Beck, Damian Rice, Modest Mouse, Iron and Wine, Florence and the Machine, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, among others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the spring of 2006, Bonnie and I were both on different groups trips around Europe; hers was in Italy, mine was in Germany, Austria, Italy, and France. The day my group was in Venice just happened to be the same day hers was and we ran into each other in St. Marks square. What a coincidence.
