About Me
Brandon here!!
Over the past four years I've developed a passion for traveling and have visited 25+ countries. Whether it's going scuba diving, spending a day visiting museums, sitting by a lake fishing, hiking for 16 hours, or bar-hopping around town to find the best party, I'm always up for an adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently, I am cycling across the USA with my friend Bridgett. We are seeking to meet fellow travelers and local hosts to help us find the best sights, cuisine, and routes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can confidently say that I have watched at least half of the movies Netflix has to offer. 90% of my favorites fall into the following three categories: Action, Comedy, Documentary.
For music, I seriously listen to just about anything. If you really want to dig deeper in this, I'm happy to share my Spotify library with you. From oldies rock to hip-hop to country to house, my taste in music is insanely diverse.
I prefer non-fiction books but there is nothing like the Lord of the Rings, Of Mice and Men, or Behind the Beautiful Forevers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode my motorcycle across the USA for 60 days during the summer of 2018. I visited over 15 national parks, hiked 300+ miles, and took some of the most bad ass pictures that before the trip I could only imagine seeing on Google images.
Teach, Learn, Share
“Life is about who you know, what you know, and what you read”. With that being said, I’m happy to be part of the Couchsurfing community where I can learn about other cultures and establish diverse friendships. Hearing awesome travel stories from family, friends and strangers is the primary reason for taking nearly every trip I have (including this RTW trip). Talking to someone who has lived somewhere or done something generally gives you much different insight than that of what you’d get from a lonely planet travel guide.
“Sharing is caring”, is something I can add to this mantra of mine. Not only can I learn about other peoples’ cultures but I can also promote my culture as well. It’s shocking but true how many people have misconceptions about cultures we aren’t familiar with, simply because of what we’ve been taught. Nothing like having a stranger on your couch, to drink a tea or beer and have a thoughtful conversation with. Happy Couchsurfing!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I grew up in a blue collar family and was the first person in my family to graduate from a university. I've completed an internship in India for the Department of Defense. I've worked in numerous fields, through which I've built a huge professional network, including; sales, data analytics, website development, insurance, valet, business development, software integrations, consulting, insurance and more. I have studied abroad for over 5 months. I have rode a motorcycle across the US alone for 2 months. I have financed my $70,000 education while in school. Surely there is more I can share, but those are my biggest achievements.
